Presumptive Parole Bill Passes House, Moves to Senate
Proposed legislation which would establish “presumptive parole” for Michigan prisoners who have served their minimum sentence and are determined not to be a threat to public safety was passed in the House of Representatives on a 67-39 vote, and now moves to the Senate.
